Tomorrow is the DAY!

well, it is the night before surgery.  My parents and I came over this morning for a consult with the anesthesiologist.  That lasted about an hour or so.  Afterwards, we went to Dicks.  While they ate a nice looking burger, fries and a shake, I drank my wonderful drink!  Even though it sounded good I wasn't hungry for it at all, which was awesome!  I was satisfied with my stupid drink. Then we went to the UW bookstore and they bought a garbage can, a shirt for Tye and a bandanna for Max.  After that we went to the room.  We are staying at the Silver cloud. I read some of my book and then we went to Ivars for dinner.   Mom and dad had a salmon sampler platter and I had 2 cups of very good beans.  We are back at the hotel again now. I am writing here and then I will go do some exercising, come back and drink my dinner and take a shower and get ready for bed  

I have to be at the Hospital at 10:30 in the morning for check in.  It hasn't really hit me yet that I am doing this.  Although I am scared still.   I am so proud of myself for how far I have come.   I am really excited too.  It is  a mixture of feelings.  Stay tuned for how tomorrow goes!

Today I made a purse card for a neighbor that had invited me to a Miche party.  I wanted to thank her for inviting me and for the prizes I received.  

Double Fold Tri-Shutter Card

Hello Again Peeps!  I have been teaching some card classes up at the Harman Center here where I live.  This is one of the classes I did.  It was very complex to make, but once I figured it out it was easy.  I went with the Breast Cancer theme as my example.  Enjoy! 

Mother Day Card

Wow! It has been FOREVER since I posted last.  I just have not felt very creative I guess.  But Mother's day was coming up and I wanted to do a special card for her.  So here it is!  It is a double Z-Fold Card.
